I think it’s safe to say that Fancy enjoyed her Gotcha Day celebration! The Husband got this good picture of her before she got to enjoy her treat.
I have been sewing up a storm because there was a contest and I had to make all the patterns! So the following pictures are all from Patterns for Pirates, just to save time and my fingers all the typing.
I made four pairs of Peg Leg Leggings.
The plain black ones are capri length and are cotton lycra and the rest are regular length in double brushed polyester. The space ones are my favorite, but were also less stretchy than I wanted them to be, so they are a little problematic, but wearable. The bat fabric is from Purple Seamstress, the black fabric is from Knitpop, trucks are from So Sew English, and the space is from Sincerely Riley. I may have too many fabric shops on my ipad….
This Cocoon Cardi is made of the softest, comfiest French Terry ever. Side note, how cool is it that I now know all of these knit fabric terms? A year ago, I had no idea what these even meant! Now I’m buying them all online and confusing the heck out of anyone who hears me talk about it. 🙂 Anyway, back to the sweater.
Fancy was scared of the dog in the mirror and hid behind me. I’m excited to wear it once it gets cool enough. I made a second pair of linen pants, this one in blue.
They are comfy and look spiffy for work. I went out on a limb and tried a new pattern. I don’t think it works for me, but it might be cute for someone else. Also, I really need a new cutting mat.
One last picture of Fancy destroying her little present. She loved it!
I’ve got to go think about dinner. I’ve been told that Husbands like dinner. 🙂
