Welcome to my journey through all of my cookbooks and craft books! After realizing that I was just buying more books instead of using the ones I already had, I decided to do something about it. Both cooking and crafting are relaxing for me and I thought it would be fun to document my progress and the things I’ve learned.
The name of the blog comes from the fact that I might have made a good 50’s housewife in terms of cooking and crafting, but dislike cleaning and am terrible at keeping my opinions to myself.
Along for the ride are the Husband and our dog, Fancy. The Husband likes to eat the things I make and Fancy likes to help me clean up messes in the kitchen. She also likes to distract me from projects to demand cuddles.
