Wordless Wednesday- The Lost Food Post

I had this lovely post of all the food below written and then my blog decided to be a problem and refused to post it. For three days. 😬😱 Then, when I thought I had it fixed, it deleted all my words. 😤 So now you get a picture post instead. I’d be happy to answer questions about the foods though.

Thoughtful Thursday- Rainbows

If you haven’t seen Rainbows Over Michigan yet, go check it out. People are putting up rainbow themed things in their windows for others to see on walks. I plan to make some hearts for our windows tomorrow, but thought rainbows would be cheerful for the blog too!

These are the games that I have at home with me for teletherapy sessions. They just happen to be a rainbow!
The stickers survived the move and are now up in my new office!

Wordless Wednesday- Signs of Spring!

Ducks on the neighbors’ pool.
Lemon thyme that survived the winter!
Volunteer strawberry in my tomato bed. I’ll move it when I have the rest out.

Wordy Wednesday- More Favorite Books!

Just in case you need some more book ideas, here are some of my favorite books in different categories.

Books from childhood

Books with humor and things to try. (Angry Little Girls is absolutely delightful, but has a lot of swearing, just in case you’d like to avoid that.)

Books that caught me off guard/were very impactful. (Room is now a movie as well. The book is tough and made me cry a lot, so I don’t know if I’d watch it.)

Books for improvement/spirituality/work.

Coloring books!

Almost Wordless Wednesday- Stash Shopping

The Husband brought me a new sewing table from his work, as they were going to get rid of it in their building move. It inspired some more organization and I took some pictures of some of my stash. Enjoy!

Terrors of the Deep! Will be octopus leggings (probably) and a shark shirt for Fancy
All woven- ends are poly rayon faile and the middle is hand batiked rayon. I had to stare down an older lady at the Expo who tried to take the bolt out of my arms and repeatedly petted it while it was clasped to my chest protectively. Ask K 2- she was there!
Cotton voile for a shift dress, ombre chiffon for a dance veil, rayon challis for a dress.
Future sewing themed quilt or sewn travel organizer
fabrics that are not primarily blue or black to expand my wardrobe. L to r: maxi skirt, sweatshirt, tank top, dress
Utterly gorgeous DBP. Was supposed to be leggings to sell, but I cannot part with it. It will be a dress for me.
Two future maxi skirts and a dress, all are ITY, so super slinky and cool to the touch.
